Thank you for visiting
Taste of Asia
on cyber space!
At Taste of Asia, we offer your
favorite Hmong, Thai, Lao, Chinese, and
Vietnamese cuisines. Since we opened in
2004, some people have already
discovered the best secret in town while
others have yet to taste our authentic
Asian cooking.
Our philosophy is simply, “Make it authentic.”
This means preparing food like we would
in our house by using the freshest
ingredients, not being afraid to make
things with flavor or spicy, and
preparing everything by hand not frozen
off a truck.
About the owners, neither one has a
background in running a restaurant. In
fact, one has a degree in Physics and
the other in social work. However, we
both have a passion for great food and a
love for socializing over a good meal.
We have been sharing our love of cooking
and our favorite recipes with family and
friends for many years. Everyone told
us we should open up an authentic
restaurant and our respond was “maybe
one day.” Well, that one
day has come.
Today, we are delighted with the
opportunity to share our favorite foods
and recipes with you. Our goal is to
offer the most authentic Asian food with
unsurpassed quality, and a distinct
taste like no other restaurant you have
eaten at. You’ll enjoy the spicy
cuisine, authentic environment along
with good company, and an opportunity to
try the most diverse buffet in town—we
are NOT your typical Chinese buffet!
Simply stated we are the best Asian
buffet in Madison! For our most
adventurous customers, you can also
order off the menu for items that are
not on the buffet such as Bitter Melon
Chicken, Peanut Butter Chicken, Congee
Soup, Ginger Chicken, Pho (Vietnamese
rice noodle soup),
etc.
In addition, to the great food, the
decoration in our restaurant has its own
story, an informal way of sharing the
different cultures of Asia. Newly
remodeled and complete with a fish pound
and water fountain which creates a nice,
calm, and relaxing atmosphere. Want an
authentic dine-in experience, be sure to
dine in in our traditional Hmong house
made of thatch and bamboo held together
only with rattan (no nails).
Therefore, your dining experience at
Taste of Asia
will not only
consist of great food but you’ll engulf
by the traditional artwork, calm and
friendly atmosphere, and welcoming owner
and staff.
Furthermore, Taste of Asia is the
only restaurant in town that offers
Hmong foods, which we feel there is a
great needs to introduce Hmong foods to
our already diverse community.
Overall, we are at your full service
by offering dine-in, buffet, delivery
and catering to any event. In addition,
we can customize to your catering needs
regardless of the quantity or menu
preference.
Thank you for visiting us, again, and
we look forward to seeing you and
hearing your feedback!
